Join PUP for our annual fundraiser and 50th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, March 20th. We will be honoring Sam Jones of the Restaurant Opportunities Center of PA. Sam has spent years organizing and fighting for restaurant workers in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania. You can buy tickets for the PUP 2026 event here.
The entertainment will be provided by Philly Gumbo, a fantastic Philadelphia area band blending New Orleans funk, blues, reggae, and R&B, known for their energetic performances and rich musical heritage.
The Philadelphia Unemployment Project needs your support to continue to organize and serve poor and working people in our area. Through the ticket sales to the event and the sale of space in our ad book this event will help us continue to organize and serve unemployed and low-wage workers, families facing foreclosure and evictions and work for transportation justice.
