Those of you who attended our 2021 Tuba Skinny Concert at Awbury Arboreum might remember a moving speech by a member of Philadelphia City Council, Cherelle L. Parker, to whom PUP had presented our Economic Justice Award.
If you haven’t heard, Cherelle won the Democratic nomination for Mayor of Philadelphia and is almost certainly going to be the next Mayor of the city. Congratulations to a fine public servant.
