As the coronavirus resurges, Philadelphia Unemployment Project Director John Dodds said the estimate for the economy looks even worse.
“Unemployment in the state, 13% — it’s never been this high. The Great Recession, all the way back to the 1930s, it’s never been this high. And what’s being projected,” Dodds said, “it’s going to stay like this. We need these benefits to continue.”
