Below you can download the testimony from PUP directed to the Senate Finance Committee, which is holding hearings today in Washington on the issue of unemployment benefits during the current recession.  The $600 supplement to UC benefits that have kept so many families floating are scheduled to expire on July 31, despite over 13% unemployment and still increasing Black unemployment.

PUP is supporting the Democratic proposal to keep the program intact for an additional 6 months, while Trump is opposed.  We will need your support!  John Dodds, Director.
