Below is a flyer on our demand that unemployment benefits be paid to claimants after 21 days if the state does not have the capacity to determine eligibility at that time. Nearly 290,000 people are currently awaiting determinations to collect their UC. Also, claimants whose benefits have been stopped without legal notice must have their benefits released. The UC system has been out of control since the pandemic began, over a year ago, with no plan to fix it. PUP believes that hundreds of thousands of unemployed must not be forced pay the price for an out of control bureaucracy. We will need your support for this effort.
