This woman with seven children, facing foreclosure, worked out an affordable loan modification in the city’s Foreclosure Diversion program. She made her payment of $660 for 3 consecutive months but rather than making the modification permanent the PA Housing Finance Agency then told her to clear her water lien of $5,400 or face foreclosure.
She is now facing Sheriff Sale for herself and 7 children. PHFA needs to stop demanding liens and judgement be cleared for families struggling to save their homes. We are fighting to save her home!
