Continuing our theme of top traditional jazz for our area, the Philadelphia Unemployment Project is hosting the Blackbird Society Orchestra on November 3. This popular band has been in existence since 1997 and has a large repertoire of hits from the 1920s and 30s. The event is a fund raiser for the Philadelphia Unemployment Project and we will be honoring our Director, John Dodds, who is retiring after 48 years this fall.
Come out and dance and tap your toes to a fine band for a good cause.
